My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Texas
I moved into a "luxury" apartment building over a year ago. And I've noticed a lot of college kids. I kept thinking WOW these parents have a lot of money!
I just found out that this building offers "smart housing" aka section 8 housing rentals to people who qualify. It is not disclosed anywhere and certianly not in my lease.
There's been a lot of trouble at the pool etc with near gang like activity and this place has 15k a month penthouses too!
Does a landlord have the responsibility to disclose this and would it allow me an early termination? I don't want to be around it anymore...
