My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Kansas
I do consulting for the Federal Government (Veterans Health Administration) and work remotely from my home. I have an opportunity to work a full time job for a firm as a W-2 employee (contractor) with the VA as well as full-time 1099 (contractor) for the VA with another firm. I believe I can easily meet my deliverables on both positions throughout the week.
Question - Is it legal to work two full time jobs as a federal government contractor?
