My question involves real estate located in the State of: South Carolina
Hi. I'm currently living in a house owned by my sister, which she purchased for my mother and I to live in after receiving a multi-million dollar settlement many years ago and added my mother's name to the deed. After residing there since 2004, my sister managed to burn through her money, lost her other house, and now she, her son, and his wife and child have moved in with us. (It's a 5 bedroom house). We had a minor squabble, and she's using that as an excuse to try to boot me out, and has just typed up an official eviction notice. My question is, since my mother's name is on the deed, can I be legally evicted as long as she wants me to stay?
