My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Texas
My husband has a son who is now 28. When his son was 10, the mom got deported back to Mexico for a federal crime. He owes back child support yet is trying to get it dismissed since the mom got deported. His son spent some time living with both grandparents in the U.S. but there was never a child support modification done to change the primary person responsible for the child.
Where can we start to get this resolved? We called the child support office where this case is being handled but there are several family members of the mom working there.
