Relocation: Removing a Geographical Restriction from a Custody Order

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Texas

My daughter is restricted to certain counties in Texas. More than a year ago, her father moved out of those counties but is still nearby (four hour drive). Due to drug use and violence in the presence of our daughter, her father now has supervised visitation with drug testing requirements. For a full year, he has refused to exercise his visitation rights, and has limited his relationship to a few Facebook messages here and there. Last month he was arrested on felony drug possession charges and is currently sitting in a county jail.

I would like to leave Texas, and so would my daughter. I have not decided what state to move to yet, and would like to get my daughter's geographical restriction removed so that I'm free to move to any US state we desire. I have no family in Texas. My daughter has an aunt and uncle on her dad's side here in Texas, but rarely sees them. How difficult would it be under these circumstances to get her restriction removed? If needed, I can secure a job in a state where I have family members before petitioning the court. I will be pro se, and will likely be in a position to receive a default judgment.
