My question involves criminal law for the state of: Both NY & CT
A friend is on probation in NY. He was recently mailed a letter stating there’s a warrant for him in CT. If he turns himself into CT he automatically violates his probation in NY as he isn’t allowed outside of the county he resides in.
How should he proceed? Please help.
