My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Georgia.
I had an ex friend abandon a vehicle on my Georgia property, but the car is registered in Florida. It has been since February 2017 that the car has been on my property. over the course of about a year I asked her approximately 6 to 8 times to please remove the vehicle and what she has ignored my request. I lost track of her but about 4 or 5 months ago I sent word through her cousin asking her to get the car off my property one last time and nothing ever happened and now I have no way of getting ahold of her. I asked my Ga county clerk of courts and they told me I had to go to Florida so I went to the clerk of court in Florida and they're telling me I have to go through Georgia Courts. does anyone have any idea what I need to do to get the car put in m name? I do not want to call a tow company because she will never go get it and then the tow company will end up with a car that I could have had. Please help!
