My question involves real estate located in the State of: Washington State.
My wife was given a life estate to 80 acres of farm property in Whitman County, WA in her fathers will. Trying to find a farmer willing to farm the land for a share of the crops has become a burden on her since she is almost 80 years old this year. He son is the Remainder Man who will inherit the property after her death. Can the property be sold if he agrees to let his mother sell the property given he will also receive compensation from the sale.
