My question involves a child custody case from the State of: California
My daughter's custody case has been dragging on for the past 4 years. We finally have a great Attorney. The last time we went to court the judge stated that "the next court date will be the last". Then the judge decided to go on vacation during the scheduled custody trial. This has happened in the past and seems very suspicious to me, as the timing of this judge's vacation allows my ex 4 extra months of time to prepare after veiwing the evidence. My ex has much more money than I do. If I run out of money, it could mean the difference between me having a good attorney or not. Is there any way to get the court to reschedule this trial immediately upon the judges return from vacation?
