My question involves criminal law for the state of: Texas
I am in the early part of my felony drug cases right now in Texas. The cases have not gone before the Grand Jury yet to be accepted by the DA office. I've checked the schedule and I do not see a date yet this month.
Would it help my case at all if in the meantime I were to goto a lab like quest diagnostics or somewhere similar and get weekly or bi weekly drug tests done there. I was thinking I could either provide the clean test results to my lawyer to maybe put together a grand jury defense packet with them showing that I am clean, or he can present them at the first court date maybe.
I just want to make sure Im not wasting money going this route and paying for all of the tests if the courts are going to not consider them because they are not court ordered. Or is it better to have multiple tests done on a consistent basis, or would having a single test result achieve the same thing?
Or should I focus my attention on something else? I have enrolled in IOP and attending NA meetings 3-4 times a week. I started a new job last week as well. I am really just trying to do everything I possibly can correct now and present myself in the most successful way to the courts. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Initiation of Charges Will It Be Beneficial to My Case to Provide My Own Drug Tests from a Lab for Court
