My question involves criminal law for the state of: Nebraska. I was in a relationship w someone who went to jail bail was 150,000/15,000. I gave his sister who bailed him out 8 of the 15,000. He is sentenced in 2 weeks. There is a recording while waiting to be bailed out from jail where he promises to pay the money back. Is there anything I can do to get this money back? Could I sue his sister?
