My question involves estate proceedings in the state of: Michigan
I am remainderman. Grandmother left property (cabin) to an aunt as life trustee and me as remainderman. Aunt has been in a nursing home and will never be able to go back to the cabin. Bigger concern is the fact that cabin, garage, and shed have not been maintained over the past 20 years since grandmothers passing and are all in bad disrepair. Aunt does not want to relinquish ownership.
I live in another state so I dont have use for the cabin but how do I get her legally removed so I can fix it up and sell it to another family member who will be able to keep it up and actually use it?
