Hey all,
So my Uber driver stole my drone from me, and I would like to file a civil lawsuit in small claims court in California. The problem is that I don't have the driver's full name, and Uber keeps telling me that I can't receive the driver's information without a legal complaint or subpoena.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can do this? If I go through the court first, I know in California, you can have a "Doe Defendant," but I've just seen that being used when one at least one defendant is known.
Any help is appreciated!
