Is It Unlawful to Evict Even Though Rent is Paid on Time

My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: California I received a eviction notice because I had made a bad comment to the manager of the storage unit place now I am being forced a eviction notice made out to me also the rent is paid on time and not late and the manager is lazy and let her personal issues come to work but can I sue or am I to move and I have ten days until technically the rent is due
