My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Texas
I was awarded a judgement for my attorney fees from defending against a motion for custody modification. (after nearly 2 years and 9 court appearances ex decided at 430pm the evening before final hearing that he wasnt going to show up according to his attorney, so he filed a motion of non suit) This may not be the correct forum for this question, but is there a good resource without spending more money on attorneys to figure out what options I have to enforce and collect the money owed on this judgement? I am 100% positive it will not be paid voluntarily and it is a substantial amount. If there's a way for him to get out of paying it he will try it, and this case put us in some pretty significant financial hardship. We desperately need to recoup our expenses.
