I am a registered sex offender seeking information and recommendations for relocation. My original crime was a felony but reduced to a misdemeanor following completion of probation and I was never incarcerated.
To hold off the obvious critiques, I will mention straight away that I am not looking to escape or subvert any of the rules and obligations under which I live. I will complete all notifications and registration as required and I'm not necessarily seeking a country that has more "friendly" laws in this particular area.
I have a very solid work history in an area of employment that is frequently in need for a variety of countries, which will hopefully make things a bit easier.
What I am seeking is information on which countries will even entertain the idea of allowing in someone with my background for the purpose of long-term relocation.
Currently, I am interested in countries with large english-speaking contingencies such as New Zealand, or a variety of caribbean nations.
Any experiences with specific countries would be greatly appreciated.
