My question involves real estate located in the State of: Texas
Hi;
We purchased a home several months ago that has a fiberglass inground pool. The sellers disclosure says it had a leak after the installation, and that it was fixed and there has been no leaks since. Well the thing leaks. We had a home inspection done, but the homeowners had "patched' up the leaky parts (we have evidence, the patch material and the epoxy they left in the garage, along with the monthly water bill when they refilled the pool). So we are looking at 2K in repairs right off the bat. This is definitely a game changer, should I go for just the repairs, or go for a replacement pool, since they literally defrauded us? A new pool would be about 45K. Should we look to have the purchase rescinded, as it would have been a determining factor in the sale of the house?
