My question involves criminal law for the state of: Texas
I'm currently doing 10years probation for arson I'm supposed to be getting off in about two weeks but still owe alot of restitution , when I went to see my probation three days ago she asked me what my plan was to pay it off and I told to just try and continue paying on it,but she then told me I could be facing jail time, is that true could I be facing jail time for unpaid restitution? I did everything else I was supposed to do on my probation and I still owe 86,000 I pay what I can because I'm a single mother of three and have bills and even on public assistance I can't afford to go to jail.
