Emancipation: 17 with a Guaranteed Home, Great Grades, and Great School Attendance, Eligibility

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Kentucky.

I am a 17 year old female in the state of Kentucky who is desperately seeking help and information pertaining to emancipation and my eligibility for it.

In my state I already know that the only ways to become emancipated are:

-At the "age of majority", which is eighteen (18) in Kentucky, a child ordinarily becomes emancipated automatically.

-A person under the age of 18 may become emancipated with the consent of the parent(s). A parent’s consent does not need to be declared or written down. It can be implied by the parent’s acting or failing to act to govern or support the child. A parent emancipates their minor child by consenting to the child’s marriage.

-A person under the age of 18 may become emancipated by court order.

I know that the most important thing that is looked for in these cases is the minor's ability to become financially independent. I DO NOT currently have a job however I held a job once before my parents made me quit. I have the ability to work and have reliable transportation to any job. I have a place to stay. I have spoken with my friend's parent and her mother has agreed to go on contract that I could 'lease her basement free of rent for one year minimum.' In one year I will be 18 and on my way to college and won't need this support from her although she has extended it further if need be.

My parents are both emotionally, verbally, and at times, physically abusive. Neither have a job and rely on government help like SNAP benefits and a monthly disability check. Neither of my parents are supportive of me and have verbally expressed many times that they, "couldn't wait until I was 18 so they never had to see me again." Is that statement considered "implied emancipation' seeing as how they show they refuse to support me? Would I be able to seek emancipation considering I am a strong student who displays obvious signs of maturity, and capability to care for myself?

Any input helps,

Thank you.
