Breaking a Lease: Can I End My Lease Due to Not Having Windows in My Apartment

My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: West Virginia

A few weeks ago I posted regarding the legality behind renting out a bedroom with no windows. Since then I have contacted a number of people including my city building inspector who came to look at the room today with a city fire marshal. The consensus is that no, it is not legal but my question now, is how do I get out of my lease? Typically, in a safety situation, the tenant is expected to reach out to the landlord regarding the situation in order to give the landlord time to fix it, but in a situation where I simply do not have windows how would this work?

I've heard the term "warranty of habitability" thrown around a bit throughout my research but I'm not really sure what it means.
