My question involves a child custody case from the State of:California
I received a Release of Lien notice from the Dept Of Child Support Service saying that this is a release from the judgement lien described herin of all the interest in real property in the counties listed presently owned or hereinafter acquired by the herein name debtor. So I logged into the Customer Connect site to check the status of my case and it said there were no cases. I then requested a copy of my credit report, I did have a wage garnishment levy but there was nothing on the report that said I owed anything to anyone. I thought in California if you owed back support you owed that forever, that they did not dismiss support arrears. I tried to find out if I still had a wage levy but was unable to find where to check. Is it actually possible that my case was dismissed?
