Custody and Visitation Issues: Open Cina Case and Active Bench Warrant

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Iowa..

My husband and I got custody of his youngest child her and half sister due to the mother getting into a car accident high on drugs(meth and weed). Neither are her first and she's had multiple times with founded case for neglect for improper supervision.. But now there's an open CINA case and for this one she got OWI (no license to start with) and Child endangerment. We currently have custody and are going back to court later this month to touch base and the judge can either terminate her rights/give us guardianship of the oldest and transfer custody for the youngest or just set another date and see how she's doing in a few more months if reunification can be done then. (We're hoping to keep them both.)

My question more comes down to this.. After she was officially charged for her owi and child endangerment she got 2 years probation but then a month later got pulled over again for driving without a license. She had court but must have forgotten and didn't show and now has a bench warrant out for her arrest. I know bench warrants generally aren't something that will have the cops come knocking on your door.. But should we report it to the DHS worker immediately or wait until court later this month and advise them of it then.

Just looking for what would be most beneficial to us keeping the kids. Her visits right now just got moved up to semi-supervised.
