My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: South/North Carolina.
My buddy gave me his car to sell for him. I never signed the title cause I never paid for or bought the car. I sold it to someone in North Carolina. I live in South Carolina. The buyer didn’t like the car after buying and found damage I didn’t notice. It’s damage to the radiator support but not the frame. He said he’s going to try to get me I trouble for title jumping/lemon law. Based off the fact that I sold a car for my buddy (I never owned it) and the fact that there’s no frame damage. Can he do anything to me?
