My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: CA Formal complaint drafted by labor deputy, signed by me and sent back to labor deputy, and will be served to both parties for hearing schedule. My question is who do I prove my claim at the hearing? is it with the same labor deputy or someone else? if another DLSE official will hear the case, what is the role now of the labor deputy whom I had been communicating all along? also on the initial complaint form I asked damages for wage statement violations and civil penalties, but wasnt mentioned in the formal complaint form, does it mean it wont be discussed at the hearing???
