We were dropping off family member at the airport. She had many heavy luggages and a baby so needed help getting inside. We all carried things inside as it was cold and I returned to find a police officer standing next to the car. I tried to explain the situation but he coldly stopped me asking for my license then he stepped away calling it in. My husband who was the driver and owner of the car came too and the officer handed a $50 ticket, with my license information in it, while telling my husband that I left the car unattended. I know it’s only $50 and I can pay and forget it but the cold and chauvinistic behavior of the officer revolt me. Does the fact that I was not the driver of the vehicle enough to fight it?
