Warranties: Warranty Service Denied on Vehicle for Previous Repairs, Car Still Under Warranty

My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Washington

Interesting situation here, and I'm hoping someone can offer their opinion. Here goes. I have a Toyota truck, purchased new in WA state, that's been in the shop a ton of times for multiple, recurring issues.

My question primary involves the following:

There was an issue, squeaky/screeching windows in hot weather, that recurred multiple times after different dealers did cheapo fixes like cleaning and lubing the felt gaskets. The issues started under the 36 month bumper to bumper warranty and continued after the bumper to bumper expired, and after several unsuccessful repair attempts during the initial warranty period. I got a corporate field rep involved, who came out, admitted the issue existed, and promptly blamed it on pieces of sand stuck in the felt gaskets on both sides of the car. He spent ten minutes looking for those grains of sand, which of course, he did not find. Anyway, he said right on the spot that we are not covering this and if you want, you can get it looked at, under your own cost, at any shop, and if some defect is discovered that is arguably the manufacturer's fault, Toyota will "consider" reimbursing me and repairing the truck.

A third party mechanic said this is a known defect with Toyota glass (ironically, a brand new Corolla courtesy vehicle I was given had the same problem) and the issue is with sloppy/defective window guide mechanisms inside the door.

What do you guys think?
