I understand my question is a bit odd so i hope someone can help me with this! The car i drive is registered to my brothers now ex girlfriend (for personal reasons).
A couple months ago I passed through 2 toll roads in the same day. That same day i went online and payed for the tolls , it asks you for an entry point and exit point and i filled it in to the best of my knowledge and paid about 7.00 dollars.Since my brothers gf used to live with us she still gets a lot of mail sent to our house and we noticed she got letters from the toll roads so wondering if it was concerning my car i opened one and it was a violation notice asking her to pay over 200.00$ for those two tolls ! It states that i owed them 7.40$ but i have receipts stating that i payed 7.00$ that day .
MY guess is that i simply chose the wrong entry or exit point .The thing is we have no way of contacting her since she is no longer with my brother and i will have to pay my registration next month and will not be able to do that if this toll road violation issue doesn't get resolved.I tried calling the collection people that took over the case but they refuse to talk to me since its registered to her.. any advice?
