My question involves a person located in the state of: Ohio
My daughter has agreed to allow me to take guardianship of her child while she finishes high school and starts college. I know I will have to do this though the court but will I also need the father who is 4 years older to sign off on it as well? (yes he could be in jail but I was trying to nice) She works and he does not. They have no real way to care for an infant when they have no money to provide the things she needs. Is this going to be a battle or pretty smooth? Just want to know what I could be getting into.
