My question involves a person located in the state of: Tennessee. I am a 17 year old that currently does online high school. I work 40+ hours a week and make $1,650.00 a month and have proof of income. My guardian has decided to not allow me to finish high school and start college while still a minor. I do have my own car and pay my own insurance, have paid off my car in full. Before I lived with my grandmother who is now deceased and am currently living with a distant relative who will not allow me to continue my schooling nor continue my job. My sister is pregnant and she feels I need to stay home and help with the new baby in March. Would I have an actual case for emancipation or would it just be thrown out?
