My question involves marriage law for the State of: California
I am engaged to be married and my fiance found out the divorce papers from his previous marriage were not properly filed by then spouse. That was over 7 years ago. He filed again, but couldn't find her to sign papers. Hired a PI only to find she had been using a bogus SS number even while they were married(and PI still couldn't find her). Does that mean their marriage license was invalid because of false info given on marriage application? Also, can my fiance contest the six months and one day law because of important falsified info?
