This is my first post so don`t be rough on me please.
I have seen this case in a tv show. A politician, giving a declaration in open air, is shot from a very far distance with a sniper rifle. He is just scrached on his arm, through his coat, so he is alright. This event was filmed and there are lots of witnesses.
Later on, the fbi established the trajectory of the bullet and found out were the victim was shot from. They didn`t mange to catch the shooter though.
What i don`t understand is why did the fbi took the politician coat and put it into evidence. If this was a real case, would the coat help with something? They could just take pictures of it instead of keeping it.
