Traffic Court Issues: Can't Obtain Driver Record on Time

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Texas
I've completed my defensive driving, the deadline to submit it was May 22. At first, I thought obtaining driving record was so easy by doing it online, but later realized that I'm international student so the only option for me is to mail the request to DPS. DPS said I couldn't go directly to them to obtain my record(don't understand why they make things so complicated) and it would take at least 30 days to process. If that's the case, I'm afraid I couldn't make it on time and I'm going back to home country for summer break on may 20.
For the worst case, can I pay the fine let the points stay on my driver license? Is that possible? and do I have to actually go to the court to do that or I can do it over phone call? Is it by any chance affect my immigration status?
And is there anyway can I ask court for extension by explaining this to them? Do I have to call or I actually have to go to the court, at this time I'm extremely busy as final approaching? I can even stay in US for a month to wait for my driving record to come. Thank you so much!
