My question involves police conduct in the State of: North Carolina
Hello,
I'm researching a case where I think it is likely that a witness was influenced by the police. It is just a hunch and I have to admit that I am very biased towards the defendant in this case.
So what I'm looking for is a way to corroborate that hunch.
I'd be thankful for any idea on how to follow up on a topic like this.

- Is there literature on the topic?
- Experts on the topic I could ask?
- A database where I could look, whether the interviewing police officer has a history of pressuring witnesses?
- Also useful would be any information on formal requirements regarding the documentation of police interviews.
I'd be thankful for any idea on how to follow up on a topic like this.
