My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Texas
After making arrangements to pay my car note today, they repossessed it instead. When I heard my car door I went to my door to open it and the repo guy held the knob.so I couldn't open the door. After about 30 seconds when he allowed me to open the door he stood blocking me from exiting. I asked him why they were taking it when I made arrangements. I asked him to stop because I had the money to pay today like i said. He continued to block me from exiting. I asked to get my things out of the car..i repeatedly asked him to stop. He only allowed me out when the other guy drove off in the car. Is that legal?
