Entering the Country with a Felony Warrant

My question involves criminal law for the state of: California. I am supposed to be traveling to Argentina in a week from now. I have a feeling warrant in northern California for probation violation from 5 years ago. After doing some reading online, the UCEA act says that it only looks to extradite for matters that hold over a year in possible sentencing and mine is only 90 days. Also, I applied for a passport a week or two ago and they granted it to me. My questions are as follows:

- Is the same check they do when issuing a passport, the same check they do when entering the country?

- if it's different and they do find the warrant, is it true that they can't determine that it doesn't qualify for extradition based on level of maximum sentencing?

- if the warrant is in northern California and I'm entering the country Atlanta, will this distance deter deter them from instigating it at point of entry?

This is for a work trip so I'm very nervous about creating a scene around co-workers if something were to happen.

Please let me know your helpful thoughts, as I am aware of the fact this should've been taken care of.
