My question involves a child custody case from the State of: California
My husband and I have lived in Arizona for over 24 years. The ex wife and state of California states he owes back child support. He has been paying a monthly payments (plus income tax returns) for over 15 years. My question is:
One child is 37 years old an the other child is deceased. This mother does not need the money or is she giving any of this money to the child. We have offered her a payoff and she refuses. She wants the full amount (including fees, interest and penalties).
How do we stop this child support from the state of Arizona?
