My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Washington
I was pulled over and cited last month and I had requested a discovery from the prosecutor. I received it just the other day and upon reading everything it included i noticed a discrepancy. In the officer affidavit he says he was using a Pro Laser III serial L5141 lidar when he cited me but the certification they sent me in my discovery was for a Truspeed LR serial L5141. Can I use this as a possible defense? If so what should I say in court to request a dismissal?
