Separation: Heatlh Insurance

My question involves a marriage in the state of: New Jersey....My wife are separating soon. She and my 23 year old son love my Federal health plan. Both are employed and CAN get their own health insurance. Of course it would be much less expensive for me to pay for (self only) instead of "self and family". upon separation and going forward to divorce am I obligated/required to keep them on since they have been on my plan for many years. Am I allowed by law to keep them on my plan? Is it up to me whether to keep paying for them? I hope not too confusing! Thanks
