My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: PA
I am an employee of a small independent dealership. We sold a vehicle a few days ago "AS IS" No Warranty (Had it written and signed by both buyer and seller). The title and plates were transferred at a local auto tag place. Now the customer, wants a refund due to possible major repair. We had told the customer that the vehicle was sold AS IS without a warranty. Now the customer is threatening to call a local news investigation team to come to our store. My question is, did we do anything illegal for the this news outlet to come to our store? Or regardless the news outlet will stop in and investigate even though the vehicle sale was final (AS IS).
