Traveling Too Fast for Conditions

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Connecticut.

I was charged with traveling too fast for conditions after swerving off the road. Should I try to fight this ticket? The police weren't there to see the accident so I'm not sure how they can justify charging me with it.
