My question involves criminal records for the state of: California
I am a former EMT/ Ambulance Driver. I was charged with a Misdemeanor Possession charge in 2015 which was later dismissed. I was no longer working as an EMT/Ambulance Driver and do not plan to go back into that profession again. Unfortunately, this charge was reported to the DMV and the license was revoked. At the time, I didn't think it was important to schedule a hearing because I was no longer pursuing that career route.
My problem is that my DMV report shows the revocation of the license which looks terrible on my otherwise clean report. I am asking if there is a way to get the Ambulance license information removed from my DMV report so I don't have to explain the dismissed misdemeanor to future employers. Many of the sales positions I am applying for require a clean DMV report and this is a serious concern.
