My question involves a marriage in the state of: California
My divorce was final in 2011.
The divorce decree stated that we were to divide my 401k 50/50.
I subsequently left my employer and transferred my 401k to a new 401k. The 401k money was invested in a business that failed and all money was lost.
There is no QDRA. My ex is now seeking 1/2 of the 401k money.
What are my options?
