I paid off my 2002 highlander in full including late fees and Toyota is withholding my title. They sued me in court for $3000.00 for "fees" that they couldn't prove I owed or what they were for. The judge dismissed the case without prejudice and when I wrote a letter to them and their attorneys for my title they said they don't have to give it to me. The car is 15 years old and I would like to sell it and can't. How can I obtain my title?
