My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Kentucky I was one hour away from my business at my daughters pitching lessons. When I had 4 misssed calls on my phone. Someone came into my Older daughters work and said Your dads shop is on fire. Her Manager was right beside of her and told her if she need to leave the go. My older daughter calls me and said dad your shop is on fire. I jumped in the car turned flashers on and hit the interstate. I then got pulled over by a KY State Police. The trooper ask what my hurry was. So I told him My business was on fire. He ask for my license only took a few mins. He came back to the car and gave me a ticket and said he could not confirm my store about the fire. I said to him so their is no fire. He started to answer and then said hold on the dispatcher confirmed their was fire.He said yes it is go ahead but slow down. I left got to my business and fire department was on scene. I talked to the fire chief about the ticket he said you did what every other man would have done. I called the county attorney and they said the could not do a deversion on anything more then 26 mph over and I would have to go to court. I have the CAD. which is 911 dispatch on the fire, and call logs printed off my phone where I was notified. What do I need to do can I go in court myself and show the Judge my information or do I need a lawyer? I have a very clean record one speeding ticket about 1 year ago and that's it. Please Help
