Servitudes and Covenants: Owner's Rights to Property That is Part of a Subdivision's Recreational Facility

My question involves real estate located in the State of: Texas
I bought a 1/2 acre lot in tax foreclosure at a county tax sale. It was zoned commercial. It was a part of the baseball field with included the first base and the other 3 bases including the pitcher's mound.
The lot was apparently platted in 2000 and a subdivision developed subsequently. So now my property is part of a baseball field as part of the subdivision recreation facility and I am stuck with the liability but can't fence it. Do I have an inherent right to use this property? I am mostly concerned with liability and trying to fence it. The right of redemption has expired.
Would greatly appreciate your input.
