My question involves insurance law for the state of: California
I was wondering if California permits excess liability policy limits to be stacked on top of underlying policy limits. I have a renters insurance policy with a liability limit of $300,000. I also have a 1 million dollar umbrella policy. I was wondering if California allows me to have a potential liability limit of $1,300,000 by stacking the limits of both policies?
