My question involves a child custody case from the State of: WA
I have a final parenting plan with my son's mother. We were never married and my son is almost 6. The case manager who is listed on my plan, does not have a clear cut role and has filed a motion to clarify and expand her roles and responsibilities. She has a hearing on March xx,2016. She would like to be appointed GAL and change my residential schedule, etc/alter the plan as that is what the mother wants. The mother has made several alienating and disparaging remarks and is very uncooperative with co-parenting (I have a declaration stating this), but the case manager "disagrees" and does not care and evening condones manipulation and lying (per her email) and won't acknowledge my concerns. The opposing party is taking my son to a counselor without my permission which is a contempt violation. There are other violations as well but she will not address them. I do not have a history with the case manager other than a 1 time/1 hour appointment. I currently have a 5/14 plan and I want to seek split custody.
any recommendations for attorneys in Everett area? any advise?
thanks
