Hi. I was wondering if it was legal for me to use photos from vintage painting books in jewelry then resell the jewelry online. None of the jewlery pieces would feature any whole paintings from any of the books. Only cut out parts of the paintings. If this is not legal is there anyway I can make it legal besides buying the rights from the copyrighter? Can I list them as the artist of the painting then would it be okay?
