My question involves insurance law for the state of: Iowa
My sister was poa over our grandparents back in 1995 and until they both passed. They raised us 3 and had life insurance on us which was paid in full. In 2009 after my divorce I called Prudential to borrow from my policy only to find out that my sister cashed mine out,$50,000 at the time. Prudential gave me the run around for years and still nothing. My question is what is the limitation law for Iowa on this and what can I do? Not only are my children left with nothing now, my funeral will not be paid for.
