My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Florida
I walked away from a 3yr realationship after being abused. During this realationship I had put my ex on my trucks title because his vehicle had had blown the motor and my truck was just sitting. In order to allow him to put his plate and tag on, DMV said I had to put him on the title. So I did but put "and" between our names so I wouldn't loose my vehicle. I can't get a duplicate without him and he refused to hand title over or sign the power of attorney document. How would I go about getting a court order for my truck title?
